After spending many years as an art director in Toronto’s advertising agencies, design studios and in the private sector, John Gallaugher established Gallaugher Graphics Inc. as a creative design studio in 1995. John also spent time as the art director for York University and as a professor of graphic design at George Brown College.
He is a graduate from both Sheridan College and the Ontario College of Art and Design. While at OCAD John was the recipient of two scholarships including the Leo Burnett Company Award which is the highest honour achievable at the college.

As a highly skilled editorial and publications art director, John has provided visual directions and award-winning creative to numerous well known national magazines including : Pro Shop Golf Magazine, Canadian Golfer Magazine, The Canadian PGA, Ultimate Golf & Ski Vacations, Ski Canada Magazine, Racquets Canada Magazine, Canadian Yachting, Photo Canada Magazine and York University’s Alumni Publication.
As a professional photographer John’s images have appeared in numerous magazines, covers, posters, promotions, greeting cards and websites. He has provided photography for the Titleist Golf Instruction Series for many years and holds official PGA Media Photographer status for the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda and The PGA Canadian Open. John has been exhibiting his work in shows and provides a very wide range of photographic imagery available for purchase as canvas pieces, art prints or plaque-mounted wall hangings. For a career into its fourth decade, you would be hard pressed to find someone with John’s unique capabilities, knowledge, background, education, recognitions and customer service all rolled into one.
